Any one got one of these? Got my name down for a single cut blackguard!

Not a bad review on the internet but was wondering if anyone on here has any experience?

There was one for sale on the forum a couple of weeks ago. I've also got my name down on the waiting list, for a double cut...the relic jobs he does look superb!

  • the rosewood HH sunburst?

Yeah unfortunatley not the specs i'm after.

    What you going for?

  • Yes, I think that was the one. I'm going for a fiesta red double cut relic. I always wanted a classic fiesta red strat and I do think his relics look like some of the best, whilst the necks are supposed to be really nice. Hopefully it'll live up to expectations.

Origionally Read this as 'Doncaster' - that's very different.

Danocaster is one of the best. He's been doing incredible work for years over on OSG. Look at this charcoal frost Jazzmaster. Normally I'd have a white or mint pickguard rather than tort, but the red tort works perfectly here.

I've had my Dano blackguard for a few weeks now - absolutely loving it.  6.5lbs, 2 pc ash, butterscotch, .93U 9.5" 6125 (what a great neck!), Arcane 50s (what great pups too!), 5/16" brass saddles.  You're going to love it (if you haven't already got it) :-)

Dano's inca silver JM was the inspiration behind my MJT build. Fantastic looking things.

A quick update. I've gigged this wonderful guitar a number of times now and it has taken top spot in my collection. Until I got this my baby was an old goldtop that I still love (not only for vintage/sentimental reasons, but it was just a great guitar for playing live).  It's not getting a look in now though, and this is well after the honeymoon period with the Danocaster. How are others getting on with theirs?

  • @guitarpolo Have you got yours? I am looking to get a fiesta red double cut as well - did you go for faded or unfaded fiesta red? How does it turn out?

  • I took my name off the list in the end when I bought a Tom Anderson, which is great, although doesn't look as good as the Danos!

I've got one, they are amazing guitars, I've got a strat on order as well, but I might eventually sell it as I'm more into telecasters at the moment:

  • They look fantastic. Guitar porn. They're basically partscasters though, right? He doesn't actually make any of the bodies/necks etc? Am I correct or talking nonsense like normal?

  • @riscado that tele looks great
