NGD!

Been itching for one of these for a few weeks and a deal came up so got me a new toy for the rack. Needs some man strings on it but first impressions are good.

Yamaha? Is that the one the Martin Booths were based on?

Looks really nice :D Red with black pickups and cream pickup surrounds looks really nice, I think.

    An MSG? Nice.

I always liked the look of solid 335 types.

Thats the fella. It was actually designed by Martyn for Alan Murphy for Yamaha. Cracking quality but Yamaha's have always been good value for money.

Yeah now you say that it reminded me that I'd  read that he'd designed them for them. :))

I've never tried one of the Japanese Yamahas (it's Japanese, isn't it?) but if it's anything like the Japanese guitars I've tried it'll be awesome (I mean, even the non-Japanese Yamahas are normally pretty nice). Nice score. :D

  • @Dave_Mc it's actually Taiwanese. Feels like a MIJ though. Light but solid.

No worries. Yeah the Taiwanese Yamahas I've tried have been pretty nice too.
