Mental playing and great finish, the dude has some great chops and no mistake. I have always loved his playing from the get go.

    Neat trick though.

  • Great player, and unusual to see him play with others like that.  Wish he would put out more outright rocky material.

Now, where the hell did that go?

  • Answer is simple.  Have you never noticed how baggy Prince's sleeves are?

  • Alternatively he may have just seen Chester Bennington walk behind him and was trying to win a bet.

Never tire of that footage and doesn't Dan Harrison look like his old man.

I love that vid, and the look on Harrison's face when Prince is playing in front of him is priceless.

He really should do a rock/guitar driven album, I'm sure it would be a massive success

I've seen him live and your jaw drops when he decides to step it up a gear.

The man has serious stage presence and the musical ability to back it up.

He did a similar thing with a vintage epiphone a while back, which he had borrowed from sone other dude who's name slips my mind, and obviously hadn't agreed to have his guitar trashed! Part of the headstock snapped off iirc. The owner was not happy! Bit of a cock thing to do by prince really.

  • One of my musical heroes. Saw him live at Hop Farm a couple of years ago. Absolutely incredible and can play several instruments very well, and obviously a talented song writer.

Great guitar player is Prince, though a little over-played on that clip IMO, I liked Steve's tasteful licks better.

    Cool clip!
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.
