Thanks for sharing Rob @RSM_Custom_Guitars - I've just caught up with the last few.

Always interesting to see the different approaches taken by different people, and the various tools & jigs that different people use to help in the various build processes.

I thought your fretting jig was a bit cumbersome, so thought I'd share what I use (on the rare occasions when I actually build my own necks!).

That's an Aldi-special £5 drill press, with a StewMac fret press caul & insert.

And treat your poor bandsaw to a new blade (justbandsawblades.co.uk)  

Now ready for stage 5 ...

@TTony Great thanks - off to Aldi now! Sorry about the smoke from the bansaw I'm a tight bugger and like to get every last bit of life out of the blades! Haha!

I've had that drill press for a while, so they may well no longer have them, but you'd probably find something similar on the bay of Evil.
