Dan Eccles (Richmond Fontaine)

Been meaning to talk about this for a while. Anyone else a fan of Dan Eccles from Richmond Fontaine? I put out a couple of 7" singles of theirs on my label a few years ago and got the opportunity to see loads of their shows. I was so impressed with Dan's understated and beautiful technique that he's really influenced how I approach lead guitar. Simple lines with loads of space.

I've posted a clip below which shows off what I love about his playing. Volume pedal tremolo and swells and really cool vibrato by pulling and pushing on the neck of his telecaster.
