Sounds nice - good find. However, the tails don't spillover. Unless that's available in the settings...I'm calling it as a fail.

For me, I'm not seeing any way to footswitch between looper and delays/reverb mode - again, unless the expression out can be assigned. But then you'd lose the potential for looper volume on an expression pedal.

I'm still interested, though - I'm thinking in terms of a larger extension rubber button on that small looper button to enable a delicate toe tap. Blimey, I'm modding it already!

Artifacting and distortion
Could be the you tube demo but based in my experience of Mooer maybe just budget based quality

Yeah the demo isn't doing much for me sadly, but ongoing development is encouraging.

I thought that distortion was deliberate in that it's a delay mode. Could be wrong, of course.

I very much doubt that Devin Townsend would put his name to anything that wasn't of good quality, given how obsessive he is about such things.

Oh, and he reckons the price will be about $250, so likely anything from £170 upwards the way things are at the moment.

Devin is great on twitter - have had many chats with him about gear as he is a self-confessed geek!!

That's certainly my thinking - he's not the sort of chap to put out something with his name on which he wouldn't be happy using himself.

OK, so I've been looking at a lot of Devin Townsend stuff since this was announced - he strikes me as an immensely likeable guy. Not only that, but he's one of the few big-ish-ticket artists who obviously really enjoys what he's doing. You see him actually grinning like a schoolboy who's suddenly found himself on a massive stage and is making the most of it while it's there.

I agree. 

He seems to be one of those people who hasn't had masses of mainstream success, but is hugely respected amongst musicians etc.

His vocal ability is just insane.
