Gretsch Bobtail

Really like my Honey Dipper. Is the Bobtail sufficiently different to be worth a go? This is mainly for finger-picking, no slide. Anyone had one? Or better for similar money?

They will be significantly different as the Honey Dipper is a biscuit bridge and the Bobtail is a spider.

I don't think spider bridge guitars sound good for standard non-slide playing but it's all subjective.

I sold one recently. Not a bad little guitar. But Tbh they seem a little rough around the edges regarding build quality. But it played ok
