Bought series 1-3 on the weekend after not hearing a bad word to say about it from a few people that have watched/are currently watching it. I have watched 3 episodes so far of series 1, it seems really good. The broken pieces of plate in the bin I thought was clever.

The writing is brilliant, but WW just pisses me off so much that I can't like it as much as Dexter.

The first couple of seasons are sphincter-quiveringly suspenseful, never seen anything like it. The whole thing is just brilliant though.

I think I've said this before, but I watched the first few episodes of The Wire and felt like I'd started watching halfway through. I didn't have a clue what was going on!

Loved Breaking Bad. It had bad elements: Pinkman was meh and the stuttery son was just shite but Walter and the brother-in-law policeman made up for them.

Not my favourite TV show by any means but definitely top ten.

I thought Pinkman was excellent - particularly his gradual emotional / psychological damage as it went on.

Can't wait for the 'Better call Saul' spin-off!

Yeah The Wire is better, I also think The Soprano's was better as well but all in all BB was entertaining, if a bit unrealistic

BB is in its own, weird genre so is hard to compare with other series. There has a lot of slapstick and absurdity but it's not really comedy. It has killing and suspense but it's not really drama. It's a big name at Comicon but it's not sci-fi, superhero or fantasy.

They're all very different but I'd agree 100% on all counts.  The Wire is simply the best television series I've ever seen.
