Favourite Blues tracks?

What's Hot
axisusaxisus Frets: 28335
I've always liked the blues, so always on the lookout for interesting stuff. I was wondering what you lot think are the best tracks out there?

Off the top of my head I'd go for

Gary Moore - Still got the blues
SRV - Couldn't stand the weather
Jeff Healey - See the light

  • Just on my phone and can't post a link but go find Shuggie"s Chittlin Blues on YouTube ( or elsewhere). Criminally overlooked guitarist.

Also Led Zep - Since I've Been Loving You, SRV - Pride and Joy..and a whole shedload of Gary Moore tracks.

Need Your Love So Bad by Fleetwood Mac also needs to be mentioned in any discussion of electric blues.

    RL Burnside
I've posted this before but it was in a different context that Blues fans might not have bothered with. It's also brilliant- Note the signature model PRS & Soldano.

Dengue Woman Blues ticks every box for me, the start is truly fantastic and it sounds like the song could go on forever.

His little brother could play a bit too!!

There's so much good Blues out there, but I would classify the above as "hot blues", so in a similar vein when I was listening to the above I was also heavily into Robben Ford and Eric Johnson (maybe a little less bluesy is Eric but far from heavy shred).

    Check out
Rugged road (Robben Ford, STUNNING solo)
Desert Rose (Eric Johnson, vocals are a little painful but the guitar playing is rather good)
