Lyrics to stave software

Is there any software out there where you can type in some lyrics and it works out the syllables and generates a music stave with the correct rhythm? Then give you the ability to set a key and move the notes up and down so you can come up with some kind of melody. From which you could automatically generate and underlying chord sequence

Interesting idea, but would it depend on regional accent? EG it takes a northerner only a quaver to say "path" but a west country person might require a minim to say "paarth".

Although I do like your style of thinking. So many modern songs have lyrics which don't have a natural rhythm to the words if you were to speak them. Older forms of poetry does, and I think it helps in the construction of a tune.
