Considering a new reverb pedal...but which??

At the moment I have the Hardwire RV-7 reverb pedal. It's a great pedal, but it lacks shimmer, which I'd really like. I can't afford to buy a separate pedal so I'm considering selling it to get a new pedal which also has shimmer.

So, what would I reasonably expect to get for the price of selling the RV-7? What would you recommend?

I don't want the Mooer shimverb as it only does shimmer in 5ths

    Second hand Boss RV6 is probably your best bet but you might have to add a bit of cash to what you get for the RV-7.

    TC not including a shimmer mode in the HOF was a stupid mistake.

    The HOF is brilliant already, but a shimmer mode would have seen it thrash a lot of the competition. All it needs is a sodding octave up algorythm

    Line 6 M5.  It has all the Verbzilla reverb modes - plus it does a whole lot of other effects too of course.  Now only £85 new.  Bargain.

    EHX Ocean 11 is an excellent pedal. It’s kicked a HOF 2 and Topanga off my board. Best spring reverb I’ve heard.

    Might be worth looking at the date of the post before trying to flog your gear fella. It's pretty common sense to assume that a question posted in May 2016 has long been answered

    Didn't they add it for the HOF2?

    Edit - looks like there's a shimmer mode on the HOF2 mode dial itself so you don't even need to tone print it in.

    Also, the RV-7 seems to be creeping up in value. You could probably get up to about 90 quid for it on eBay if you list it as a buy it now and aren't in a rush to sell. Would pretty much cover the cost of a new HOF2. Or, if you like the Digitech, maybe a Supernatural as suggested by @DiscoStu ;

    I've got a Supernatural and used to have a HOF. Moved the HOF on because, although it sounded great in isolation, I couldn't quite get it to sit right when playing with the band. Although lots of guys use them with no issues so YMMV.
