    A US one in tweed with the alnico speaker might be worth a tad more, IMHO £250 would be a good price. Definitely worth a punt, fantastic amps, you won't regret it.

    They're nice, but it should be spot on for £250, very little hum, crackle or hiss, and with no flapping from the speaker on lower notes.

    They're pretty loud for 15w, giving the stock speaker a fairly hard time, and the filter caps are starting to show signs of age on some of the early ones.

    I just sold a very good USA blond/oxblood one from about '95 on here, with JJ EL84s and a Ragin Cajun speaker (a massive upgrade, seriously) for £200, and it took months to sell. The tweed covered ones DO fetch a little more admittedly, but I'd haggle if I were you unless it's so damn perfect you'd be embarrassed to. :)
