    I'm not sure as yet so seeking any input from experience.

    For the sake of some extra intonation holes it does open up a range of possibilities with block loaded and or top loaded strings. Initial feedback ( not my own testing) is positive and the top loading ( ala Jimmy Page tele tone) seems like it could be an interesting tonal shift/ extra twang maybe,  for a strat.
    Jury is out I guess.

    HI @mgaw , hmm nice guitars,
    Are you in any way unhappy with the existing trem?

    Also , what is the dimension between the centres of the mounting screws.
    If you let me know we can look at whether we can fit one OK.
    kind regards

    just to add the one in the picture is a prototype being tested. It is a converted Vintage string spacing bridge, so as you can see the is some gap ( not great )  between the three tele saddles. Production ones will be made to offer Modern 54mm  string spacing ( and the saddles will be 2x 10.8mm)  so no gap /slopping around. The saddles will have grooves so to keep the strings in exact position. kind regards

    I actually like this, but I (personally) see a very specific use for it. One 'ideal' guitar I have had in mind was a single cut 'T' style with a trem (three saddles makes this perfect) but with a Nashville pickup arrangement so you could really get close to a true Strat/Tele hybrid.

    I wouldn't put it on a Strat because it wouldn't be appropriate for my idea of a Strat with a Trem.

    How does it compare cost and production wise to a regular Wudtone trem?

    not unhappy with the existing trem but i did fit one of yours to a Tokai strat and it made a big difference to the resonance and tone...thats where my interest lies really...tbh i dont use the trem:)

    Hi @Richardj, ;

    Thank you. Yes sounds like a great guitar strategy and the sort of project this will be just the job for. Cost wise,it will be a £3-4  more than the current £39.99 for a CP Vintage plate. We will look at a complete assembly option too ( will be same additional ) once we have sorted some saddles.
    kind regards
