This guitar has several customs upgrades, please see the specifications below. It is in perfect condition, absolutely no scratches or dings anywhere, looks new. As you can see from the pictures this guitar is beautiful, the sunburst finish is stunning. It was made in Austin, Texas in 2013 (warranty card included). The retail price is £4500. The action is low and comfortable. As you would expect from a Collings guitar, the intonation is perfect and it plays in tune all over the neck.
This model is based upon the 1930's Gibson L-00 guitar. Collings make guitars the way Gibson used to back in the day. Their guitars are entirely handmade by some of the very best luthiers in the world. This one has amazing projection and is very well balanced. It has a lot of sustain and the overtones ring out clearly, note separation is fantastic. You can hear this guitar in the first minute of this recording:
