Did you see Felines Lion Cub LPJ (I think that was the name) there are pics on his thread. It's absolutely stunning. The best LPJ you'll see and I'm not just saying that cause he's a member here. On mobile so can't post a pic but look it up

Depends if you want replica or something slightly different wood wise

I've got some lovely limba Jr bodies cut out that'll have a black limba cap so you don't see a pickguard
I do have some mahogany bodies done too

I've just built a 59 replica that is extremely loud, i mean noticeably, made with extremely light unchambered old mahogany, shame it's off to Germany this week

It's a stunner @felineguitars, I remember when you showed off some pictures around Christmas time of it and my jaw hit the floor. Maybe one day when I'm not forking out £100 a day on nursery fees ( :(( ) I'll come knocking on your door for one :)

We have a 2 year old and a 5 month old. 5 month old is going to nursery soon and we won't get free nursery hours for 2 year old until next summer term at earliest, Nursery is £48 a day per child although we will get some small discount for having 2 kids with the same nursery so my original comment isn't completely accurate but yea, next year or 2 will be lean years! Almost wipes out my wifes salary but not quiet

I have played a Gordon Smith GS1, which is a Les Paul Jr clone. It had a solid pine body and mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard. Also, it had a Kahler tremolo with the original Gordon Smith hand made humbucker. I think it was made in the 1980s and had been gigged a LOT.

Despite the guitar looking fairly we'll beaten up, the resonance and sustain was fantastic and the humbucker sounded focused and in your face not like a traditional P90 at all but I loved it, as did the band. Overall, it needed a good setup and I did not want a tremolo on it so, I passed on it but overall I was very impressed. Not sure what the new Gordon Smith GS1's are like. I think they are under £600 GBP new.

Also, I have heard very good things about Feline guitars too.

Buying this guitar was the best gear decision I have ever made. It's simply awesome! Would highly recommend anyone after an LP junior style guitar to go for a Lion Cub.

Chris bought the Feline Lion Cub that got reviewed. He was a patient chap and waited for the magazine to be done with it. Cool that he loves it so.
