Recording with a THR 10

Anyone tried recording some tracks with this kit and the supplied Cubase?

I've seen the video with Mark Van Goolygong and he makes it look straight forward.

Is this the case?

Is it worth a bash?

Any tips welcome. Cheers

It really is as easy as he makes it look, though I ditched Cubase and went back to garageband.
    Simple as it can be.

I could never get my head round this when i had one. Is it the case you have to configure your PC so it thinks of the Yam as your soundcard? I did this once and the PC became very confused. I gave up in the end. Is there a way round it?

Once you have loaded the THR Editor software, the THR should always be available as an alternative to your PC soundcard, all you have to do is select it.
With mine, all I have to do is turn on the THR et voila, mine is however always connected to my PC.
