All finished, very light and enjoyable. Not my usual thing but the cover band observations are absolutely bang on. You missed a trick by not calling it "Love Rock, actually"  

Massive props on getting it written and published matey. Very enjoyable indeed

It is a work of fiction based very loosely on reality. There is a groupie, but she is erm... regrettable may be the kindest word.

All real events have been exaggerated or underplayed so as to be unrecognisable by anyone else who was actually there (I hope).

Finished reading it this lunchtime. I thought that it was a great read - it wasn't just a set of anecdotes from the live music scene but also had a well structured story to go with it. One of my favourites was the chapter with the revised lyrics to the Elvis Costello song which was very nearly a "coffee over the kindle moment - possibly worth citing this in any advertising tasters? Well done @Dave_Vader

Downloaded it onto my kindle and started reading it this weekend.  Enjoying it so far.

It's quite eerie how close a lot of it is to my own experiences.  The drummer auditions rang particularly true!
