WTB Waterloo WX14

Was after a Gibbo but have changed my mind and now looking for a Collings Waterloo. Must have a truss rod and preferably be in sunburst. Edging towards the ladder braced model too. Fat chance of finding one used but hey, worth a shot. Cheers!

Coda have got a second hand Gibson Blues King. It's up for £1029... but I guess they'd probably give a bit off that price.

I would seriously recommend something like a J45 Will, you know me and acoustics and since I got a good J35 my acousto-lust has been seriously curtailed! That Blues King is well worth a look or have you thought about a Collings Waterloo?

Hi Stu. I love J45s too. I had a J50, which I sold to buy your Collings! I just really fancy a small bodied Gibson for acoustic blues and as a nice small guitar to cart around. Nothing wrong with the OM2H for blues though TBH! The Waterloos seem great too, as does the Collings C10 (not really looking to spend that much though). The small Gibbos just seem to have the mojo! I've also been checking out the Keb Mo model - not sure about the bound headstock though...

You see, I get where Will s coming from... On my acoustic forray this year, I went for an expensive Collings, which is awesome.

But I did fall in like with the Waterloo, and the Martin Smoke 00017 thingy... Low fi sound almost

There is/was one on pre-loved but the opposite of what you want, t-bar and black finish. I've been looking at it for a while but don't have the cash to go for it.
