Tool recommendation

I guess this is the right place for this...

This is a recommendation - I recently bought a neck that the screw holes were in the wrong position for the body I had. Normally, I'd break out the doweling, cocktail sticks and woodglue but I'd had a Stew Mac catalogue drop on my desk at work a couple of days earlier... and so I ordered one of these:

It actually does exactly what it says on the tin and so much quicker/neater than I've managed using other methods. In fact, I had the whole operation done in my lunch break today and the result speaks for itself...

So... a total recommendation from me. :-) Hope that helps someone

  • Really nice! It means I won't shy away from pre drilled necks :)

Could work on any hole, too, so misplaced strap pin holes and wonky bridge holes can all be redone (though it would need a solid finish).
