Help me figure out a couple of sections in this old track (local band New Wave content!)

The Nuclear Sockets were a local band back around 1980/81 and they got minor notoriety after getting a John peel Session and brought  few singles out.

There is a couple of sections in this track below that I cannot for the life of me fathom how to play, can anyone help with these and post the chords/notes?

The first is at 2m50s - a flurry of fragment chords on the top strings with some open notes ringing out
The second is the lead flourish at 3m11s It sound slide it starts with E&B strings together at 10th fret (D) and them maybe 13th fret B string but I kinda get lost especially the end few notes

I know these things are hard to 'write' without TAB but any pointers would be appreciated, not being able to nail these down has bugged me for years!
