USB Microphone

Hello everybody! 

I am looking for a cheap ish way of doing recording on location with as little messing round as possible. 

A USB microphone seems to be the way to go. 

Anyone had any experience with them? It is purely for voice recording only but I don't want to spend many pounds as if it doesnt work out i dont want to have spend loads of monies

To be honest something like Yamaha PR7 is ideal for what you want rather than a mic and recording device.  You can line out of it straight into a computer using it as just a mic or belt and braces with the computer and the machine recording the same thing.
