G&L Tribute Superhawk (Jerry Cantrell)

What's Hot
Anyone play one of these? The one with the 2 humbuckers?

They seem to be showing up quite cheap on ebay?

I thought they were about £900/€1,000 new, but they are showing up for about £300+ on ebay.

Was there a high and low end run of these with G&L. I can't seem to see it on the website, only the "tribute deluxe superhawk".

They are essentially the F-100 right?

I think that 'Tribute' when used by G&L means it's part of their Korean line as opposed to the US made ones

I wouldn't mind picking up one of these - what with being a fan of mustangs, wide necks, ebony, and Cantrell! B-)

  • Yeah. Me too. If the neck is thin on one of these tributes, I'd be interested in taking a chance on flea-bay.....

  • Resurrect my own thread. Any players over the years?
0reaction image LOL 0reaction image Wow! 0reaction image Wisdom
  • Nope - still haven't had the chance! Oddly enough I was longingly looking at them again online a few days ago though :)

  • Not sure about a strat feel with humbuckers, its an odd feeling (heavy) body shape with a very slim flat neck. Bodywise reminds me more of a Baretta than a strat
