WTB: Various stringed instruments ... in fact any other unused instruments!

Im looking for various acoustic yet incredibly cheap instruments. 

Barely working cellos, charangos, ukeleles, ronrocos, banjos etc......anything at all really, any condition as long as it does work on at least a basic level. Due to wanting various pieces I need cheap cheap cheap. 

 Whatcha all got?

In fact any percussive instruments too, maybe even tuned percussion of sorts or very small glockenspiels too.

What you going to do with them ?

Learn how to play them properly and then record myself playing them. Maybe if I can get enough together take some photos of them all together.

I should add, I'm not looking for regular 6 or 12 string guitars.

I've got a crappy banjo and an a dulcimer here I was given and have absolutely no interest in.  They are yours free if you are prepared to pay the postage from France.

Cool! Are they both playable? How much do you ballpark think the cost is? I don't think it would be much as it won't need insuring so basically YES PLEASE!

The dulcimer needs a new string/bit of wire (it's not exactly high tech) and the action on the banjo is a bit extreme (but what do I know about banjos)  Honestly and truly I haven't messed with them at all.  I reckon £25 ish to ship in a decent box, it would nice if you got instruments rather than matchwood!

I think I have a charango in the loft somewhere. There's a crack in the top which I tried to repair but I gave up on it and gambled on getting another one (which turned out to be better). The crack seems stable and doesn't really affect the sound. Works at a basic level I think is a perfect description of it but needs a new set of strings. Any use to you?

OK, the split is definitely noticeable so I don't think it's a long-term prospect unless you get it fixed by a pro but it might be ideal for what you want to do. There's a full set of new strings on it and it comes in a hard case. £20?

That includes postage, I can't ask for more than that. I've been hanging on to it for years, couldn't bear to throw it away but couldn't find anybody who'd want it - it'll be good to see somebody have a use for it. I'll PM you tomorrow.
