Palladino tone -link up

big fan of his, think he's arguably the best session bassist around. I;ve been working on getting his tone sussed, here's my attempt:



and bear in mind, I am not a bassist, and this isn't a fretless, but I do like this tone!

    that was the sound I was after! He made his mark before Paul Young on Gary Numan's album, I Assassin. There is some awesome playing on that album. I think it was the first recordings of his then signature lead bass style and sound.

    He got the fretless out again on some songs on the 2013 NIN Tension gigs, superb stuff.
