In fairness it's for home use .. no valves, stereo input and stereo sound .. can be hooked up to a home recording system .. takes pedals and FX units .. what's not to like?

This has made my day, have been wanting them to re-issue this and it even does away with the crap overdrive and puts a reverb in place, spot on.

Edit: £409 though, hope it streets a bit less!

It put me very much in mind of the intro to Richard Thompson's "Persuasion".

That does sound nice, plus as somebody else said above with a stereo modeller into the fx loop that could sound nice. Or two chains of fx one into each speaker... Nice!

Maybe it could have an on-board ring modulator and fuzz factory instead.
