I'm keen to have a go at this but until today, I'd not figured out a way of getting drums into Reaper. I've figured it out, or at least a bodge-up way, now. However I threw together a track and its turned out incredibly cheesy - is cheese okay? If this is the kind of thing, I'll have a further try and smooth out the rough edges (like, for example, the ending hasn't been done yet so kinda just stops).

Also it will give you soloists ideal practice at soloing over a useless bass player who can't quite keep in time, and doesn't know the layout of the song so makes it up as he goes along.

Working on another original one. Also happy to go to the back of the queue with the other (cover version) one I've already sent in to give others a go first.

Here's another one, this time a little bit more thought out; and I persuaded my multiple personalities to talk to each other when they were playing bass, guitar and drums so it coherently fits together:

To anyone that is thinking 'hey I sent a backing track in a long time ago and it hasn't be used yet, do they hate it or something?' 


The answer is:

No not at all, they are all good :-) many thanks to everyone that has sent ones in (and please keep them coming) we just have a backlog now as the competition on uses one a month so I am just going through them roughly in date order when needed.

Apologies if I haven't replied directly to you to say thanks for you submission but I'm just a bit busy with things so I am not always able to reply (sorry my darlings).
