A Carvin XV-112 from 1981. 100w of loud! Only had a quick fiddle at ultra-low volumes but it sounds brilliant, the cleans are magnificent and the gain roars with a TS pushing it. Very Marshally in flavour but with gorgeous cleans. The EQ controls are very interactive so I'm going to have fun dialing it in!

Should go nicely with my X-100B Reissue head :D

I love the x100b RI, its actually one of my favourite heads ever despite its low price. Carvin know how to get volume aswell, damn those amps are loud!

Yeah, this sounds pretty similar, except the reverb is much, much nicer.

I've got an X-100B from an older run, when the volume was much, much lower. I had it in 100w mode and was having to run it at almost full pelt at gigs! Thankfully Carvin detailed a fix, and all it took was a couple of resistor changes to make it as loud as a 100w should be (although I still don't think it's nearly as loud as the older ones).
