    I saw him play with Weather Report at Glastonbury, possibly 1985. Despite being a committed post-punker, they managed to blow me away and I distinctly remember watching Bailey and thinking "how the f**k does he do that?"
     I'd read that he had been ill, but I had no idea just how bad things were for him.
     Very sad indeed.
    My wife asked me to stop singing Wonderwall.
    I said maybe.....
