Chord Of The Week 19/11/16 - a D(m)7add11 from "Pull Up To The Bumper" by Grace Jones

I've been noting down some ear-catching chords in the front of my diary, so I'll use them up during the rest of this year to save me noting them down again in my 2017 diary! :-) They are mainly well-known 80s songs and obscure blues-rock album tracks, so I'll intersperse them to begin with starting with an 80s track.

An obvious influence on the rhythm guitar break in Prince's 'Kiss' (link to that #chordoftheweek discussion at the end), this one uses my favourite type of chord - a m7add11 link also at the end). Strictly speaking there is no minor 3rd, but it toggles from the G note xxxx8x in this chord to the F minor 3rd note xxxx6x in the next chord to complete the riff, so I've put the 'm' in brackets as a minor chord is so strongly implied in the context.

D(m)7add11: x5758x

You can hear the chord at 0:33 in the video
