opinions on this wiring please

Two humbuckers, 3-way switch, and I'm going to have two mini toggles to change each humbucker between parallel, split coil and humbucker. That bit is definitely happening! What I wasn't sure on was whether the mid position of the 3-way should be parallel or series?

Opinions?

Conventionally it'd be parallel. Series will be very hot and thick in the middle position - not a bad sound exactly, but not as usable as parallel I would say.
