Martin 000-18GE Golden Era 1937 with Sunburst finish.

My price is £2400. No trades. I have a positive feedback score of 790 on eBay and solid references.

The highest end Martin guitar available, produced by the company's most skilled guitar makers from 2006 - 2013, replaced by the "Authentic" line. You can see the full specifications at the bottom of the page. Most importantly this guitar has a premium grade Adirondack spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, short scale, 1 3/4" neck and scalloped braces just like those made in 1937.

This one, made in 2011 is in great condition, almost mint, please see the pictures. The sound is out of this world, warm, sweet and powerful. It can go from a whisper to a growl, the dynamic range is stunning. The 000 makes it an extremely versatile guitar that sounds good played finger-style or flat-picked. It comes with the original hard case and all of the documentation.

Reviews of this model are always extremely positive and it was compared with a pre war 000-18 on the Martin guitar forum, see the following link:

I just got asked about the neck profile on the 000-18ge. It is a modified V shape. That means there is a V shaped profile to the neck but it's not as pronounced as a full V shape. The pre war Gibson L-00 that I have definitely has a chunkier neck and more prominent V shape  but the nut width (1 3/4 inches) is the same. In reality I don't really notice the difference when playing unless I deliberately think about it.
