    'Multi-Love' by Unknown Mortal Orchestra

been really into my Lo-Fi Psychedelia lately, this album has a lot of that!
If you're liking that, I'd recommend Melody's Echo Chamber - a side project from Tame Impala's Kevin Parker

  • @MossI believe he produced it as they are/were dating? The production on it is amazing, the drum sounds are to die for

Produced and played a fair few of the instruments

Agreed on the drum sounds - Kevin Parker is an incredibly underrated producer

  • @Moss - didn't know that, thats very cool, the drum patterns do have a very similar flavour to a lot of Tame Impala stuff. I think he's likely to become the most in-demand producer in that alt-rock scene over the next few years, he's already got a lot of fingers in the right pies from his work with Mark Ronson and Dave Fridmann

When I was re-arranging my CDs back into some semblance of order I realised I don't have Pink Floyd's Ummagumma so I had a listen to it on YouTube and remembered why I decided not to bother buying it. It's not awful, but I've better things to spend my money on.

After that I listened to Band Of Horses first album (also on YouTube) with a view to maybe buying some of their albums. I quite liked it so they've gone on my list of CDs to look out for next time I'm in Exmouth.

To be slightly different, my favourite song off Dark Side is "Time". What's yours? :)

Order of the day... old Biffy Clyro albums. "Only Revolutions", they're such an odd bunch.

It's documented that Cameron Crowe popped his cherry when that performance was first aired on TV.

Steely Dan were certainly a fugly old band, but there were so many cool things about that clip - great song, great playing, an entire band singing(!)... and a whole bunch of pre-EVH partscasters.

Passing through Manchester on the way home from holiday on Saturday I bought the Blues Pills CD in HMV, still love it and it's gonna be glued into the car stereo for a while I think.

The guy behind the desk who served me was saying how much he liked it too and recommended Kadavar. There seem to be two or more bands with similar names but with different spellings, the one I'm listening to just now is the Kadavar album called "Abra Kadavar". Bloody hell, the guy was right, it's awesome! Love it! Classic 70s ish sounding, which isn't my usual hangout, but it's superb.

    Check it out. :)
