Tele Coodercaster

Had a few days off so put this together....

Hosco mahogany double bound Tele body finished in Cherry Crimson Stunning Stain and wipe on Poly. Routed the neck pocket to take the P90.
Mighty Mite Strat Vee neck, modified heel to fit Tele pocket, black headstock.
Iron Gear neck P90.
Mojo Lap Steel at the bridge.
Mojo loom.
Jazz Bass knobs
Wilkinson compensated half bridge....

Turned owt nice...

So cool, whats the lapsteel pickup like? I know describing sound is hard. Is it quite hot? I'd imagine you get a pretty deep bass out of it

No not much, depends whats there originally, its really just 3mm deep clearance holes for the 4 screws that hold the top plate on which protrude from the bottom plate.

Tuned to open G with the tone rolled off aboit half it sounds great with a bit of valve drive...

@earwighoney ;I have to pop the neck off today so I will take the Lap pickup out and photograph the back of it for you......
