Yes you are! It's a very nice speaker - I have one in my Gartone Stageman. It does need to be properly broken in though to come to life. It's a bit dull straight out of the box.

I've been offered a creamback alnico elsewhere but he's wanting £190 for it. Fair price? I was thinking £160, unlikely?

A few months old apparently. £210 new from lean business including delivery 

Hope you guys can advise

Sounds a little pricey?.....after all it is used and the warranty will only apply to the purchaser...
I think for an extra £20 I'd rather  have a new one.....at £165 including postage it might be worthwhile.....

Yep this is what I went back to him with. I think he maybe keeping it at that price

If he brought it a month or so ago then he wouldn't have paid the 210 for it.  I'm pretty confident it was Lean that had them listed at under 180 around that time as I had one in my basket but never got round to buying it.

Edit- just checked and it was back start of October they were listed at the lower price.

You only pay the VAT once, so take that into consideration along with the fact its a used item and i'd say £140-160 is a fair offer.

Yep, like so many who price "to get back what I paid for it" when new... all I know is they rarely sell em !

Yep, like so many who price "to get back what I paid for it" when new... all I know is they rarely sell em !

I'm waiting for the day that I get a decent amount of money back on my purchases. Maybe I'm just a soft touch when it comes to striking deals when selling.

Don't get any ideas though guys I ain't that soft when it comes to future sales I might have. My New Years resolution to myself
