With Prince going this year and now George Michael, two of the first singers I remember listening to in the 80's have both died in a relatively short time.  Hearing Faith and Raspberry Beret when I was about 5 years old on the radio are two of my earliest musical memories. 

RIP George, thanks for the tunes and for the memories.

I remember like it was yesterday "Wham - The Final" live at Wembley, caught the bus up from dreary South Wales to the glorious sunshine of London, my mate and our girlfriends, got there early and down on the barrier for what, at the time, was one of the greatest shows I'd ever seen. It still ranks to me as the best live voice I've ever heard. Sad news indeed, hell of a songwriter.
