This high-end reverb unti was a serious contender to Lexicons in it's day and as I had a 224 and AMS and Quantec, I can testify the R7 gave them a good run for the money. 
Read the manual for a breakdown of all the algorithms (more than just reverb - phasing, flanging, echo, auto pan etc)
Full working order but does need it's battery (CR2032) replacing - it won't store any custom presets you make but there are more than enough to play with and the parameters are a tweakers delight ....
