Strat trem arm tip too loose - easy remedy?

What's Hot
My partscaster has a new, longer trem arm but none of the 3 tips I've gathered over the years fits - all too loose. How can I remedy this without buying another? Is using silver foil around the arm a sensible fix? Or glue of some sort...

Paper masking tape will work better probably - PTFE tape is very thin.

Failing that, Araldite :). It's not exactly something you'd want to take off again… often they're moulded on anyway.
