Mesa Studio Preamp, thoughts?

tried one yesterday, sounded pretty decent, not as high gain as I expected but still very meaty, £315.

Had one, sold it, bought one a few months later. It's going nowhere. They're under-appreciated and still affordable.

From memory the Triaxis and/or Rectifier preamps are the ones you buy for more modern levels of gain.
