    521 +6 +7 + 5+8 = 547k. 

    Paused for a wee drink & to admire the view halfway through today's effort. As cityscapes go, it ain't bad.

  • That's Week 2 completed of C25K.  I think that I'm starting to enjoy the feeling I get after the run.  I'm looking forward to day when I'm up the with the rest of you guys.

    Went running at work on Friday and managed to fall over and send my glasses skidding over the tarmac (£130 for new lenses :(

    Another 5k this morning and then had a crack at doing some sprints for another 1.5k 

    Total for the year now 179k

    Yet another 7 miles along the canal. I tried drinking a strong short coffee before I went out, and it seemed to improve my performance. It's also supposed to increase metabolic rate after exercise but I'm not sure if it's best with high intensity stuff.

    Rest day tomorrow, although I have the day off and intend to help out with last-minute canvassing and ferrying about.

    After injury related time off, I'm back on.

    Recalculating for my target of 520K for the year, I now have to do a HUGE.....

    14.6 km per week! (I know some of you do that in before breakfast)

    Only just seen this thread. I started occasionally running a few months back but I'm trying to make it more regular now by going during my lunch break. Longest run is about 4.5miles so far but I'd like to get up to 10k this year.
    Yearly total = 32miles + 3miles today = 35miles
    Always be yourself! Unless you can be Batman, in which case always be Batman.
    My boss told me "dress for the job you want, not the job you have"... now I'm sat in a disciplinary meeting dressed as Batman.

    4 miles this morning running back from dropping car at the garage for service. Ran long way back. 2.6 miles this afternoon running back to car using shortcuts. 

    Thats it. Runs finished now until Saturday when I tackle 2nd 100 miler of the year. Running Winchester to Eastbourne along the length of the South Downs. Hoping weather is kind. 

    Be glad to get this one done so have 8 weeks until the next and chance to fit in some training rather than just ticking over and recovery.

    Just training to lose weight and get back to the way I was running 3 or 4 years ago. But I figure it can't hurt to always be prepared for a half marathon at least.
