Before I blow my focusrite up I thought I would get some advice...
I want to use my Focusrite 2i2 as standalone mixer so I can run the play guitar and have the input 2 as a aux cable for backing tracks. I don't want to bother using my laptop to power it with USB. So my question is, can I use a standard iPhone plug with the USB cable to power the Focusrite safely? This is all providing I can use it without the drivers on my mac.
