Introduction to Project

 Hi my name is Lewis, i’m a student currently studying engineering and I am carrying out an engineering project as part of my course, having played the guitar from a young age I chose to incorporate this in my project. 

 My idea is attach an electronic drum kit to my guitar. There will be velocity sensitive sensors sitting just below the strings, allowing the guitarist to play drum kit while simultaneously playing the guitar. For a good demonstration of this watch Pensen Paletti on YouTube.

 I am aware of competition from a product called Acpad. My selling point over this product would be that my product would be a third of the price and will be able to be fitted onto any type of guitar both acoustic and electric. It will also be able to be fitted onto other string instruments such as banjos and ukuleles.
