He is based in the West Midlands and for a number of years has built highly acclaimed 59 based flame tops - you know the shape and name - Operates all most under the radar in that no obvious point of contact - Geoff Whitehorn, and Tim from Bare Knuckle are more well known players/owners and a few resident FB members own them - If nothing else this thread alone shows they are highly controversial as they are built with the Gibson and Les Paul Model script logo - Legal or illegal they are never the less, highly acclaimed for a reason in both how they  look ,their accuracy and playability - As far as I know he doesn't under take repairs or 'Historic Makeover' style restorations - Hope that helps

I know and I'm not defending them either and I repeat I was fishing for additional info and not selling it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - I just happen to think they are bloomin good guitars and I can't get away from that and yes they would still be bloomin good guitars with any logo on the headstock and with that in mind this thread would not have gone past page 1 -

I wonder how many replica guitars are produced I imagine the market is quite small based on price. Then again if they are that good then the myth and legend will create the demand.

The one pictured above is a replica of the John Squire / Richie Sambora burst. It was commissioned by the owner to replicate every detail, including the fact that it had been refretted and lost the knibs. Knock a quid off if you like.
