Hughes and Kettner Statesman - any thoughts?

specifically I'm looking at the 6l6 head.

Ive always been keen on trying these out and I'm on the lookout for a new amp head. These seem to come up at a very good price. Does anyone have any thoughts on them?

The 2x12 combo is the only model that had 6L6s, great amp though, I gigged one for a while with the matching 2x12 cab, which wasn't for volume purposes by the way, more a means of getting the amp off the floor. 

The head is identical to the 2x12 in terms of preamp and all other features, but has EL34s. Good amps though, especially for the prices they can be found at nowadays. When they crop up

Great amps. I owned and gigged an EL34 head model

I owned and gigged the 1x12 40 watt model for over a year, great amp, reliable tone night after night.
I'm always on the look out for the EL34 head version but one never comes up when I have cash available.

Yes, I like them too I wonder why they cant make the tubemeister series amps sound like them
