GONE: Gibson Les Paul Historic 59 Reissue R9, Tom Murphy aged, £3,999.

NOW GONE. Gibson Les Paul R9 Historic 59 Reissue aged by Tom Murphy. 2014 model so has the 'authentic' construction improvements. With original case, certificate and all case candy. As new except for the ageing. Weighs 8lb 13 oz. I might be interested in a deal against a 1950s Les Paul Junior or Special, or a mid-60s Telecaster, or a Fender CS Relic, Masterbuilt or Teambuilt, cash either way depending on values.

I'm looking for £4,250 £3,999 firm.

I'm based in Salisbury in Wiltshire and normally work in London three days a week.

Welcome to the forum. Clearly you have very good taste in guitars and can recognise a good deal in the classifieds when you see one.

Unfortunately Wouldn't beable to afford... had to sell my other Murphy R9 2012 last year when I moved house. Mark at guitars4u is currently selling it.

This is STUNNING, been watching it on eBay.  Don't suppose that a 99 Standard would interest you at all as a trade ... got a CS Tele Custom Deluxe too, but it's my only Tele so I'm keen to keep hold of it ...

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not really interested in a Standard to be honest - unless it was valued so reasonably that I could sell it on easily! Thanks again.
