Guitar Rig

So, after much searching, I think i am a convert to Guitar Rig for my home noodling. Tried a few various set ups including being a long time Pod Farms user but Guitar Rig is pretty impressive. Its even got me interested in non high gain amps , like Plexi's. Much GAS inducing...

Guitar Rig is great, I would say it doesn't sound quite as good as Amplitube but it is a lot easier to use and the effects routing/layout is a lot better.

I had guitar rig about 8 years ago, when I didn't really know what anything did. There was so much option paralysis, I just played with the presets and never gave it the time it deserved.

Guitar Rig is great! I'd also recommend trying BIAS FX, I alternate between Guitar Rig, BIAS FX and Amplitube depending on needs when recording :)

I don't like BIAS, never really tried it that much but it didn't get that Low Gain Crunch sound.

Can't stand guitar rig''s amp modelling. The worst of all amp Sims  very old now too. Nice fx though

Everything seems to have a lot of bass.  So much low end I couldn't get rid of

Still, for home use it was awesome

I live in a tiny flat so I can't record anything in a professional way. I'd get slaughtered by my neighbours if I fell back on mics and amps. Guitar Rig has been a great choice. Then I got a Pod HD 500 and it seems to be better, but I've tapped only a tiny percentage of its capacities.

Yeah, definitely not suitable for recording, but it's really good for noodling and practice.
