Unique Ron Thorn Artisan Master Double Cut Semi Hollow Redwood and Koa FS price drop

I specced this beautiful guitar out with Ron in 2003/4 and i am the original owner

It is a unique thorn from the early days and sounds unbelievable - you may be aware of ron thorns stellar build quality and reputation although there are very few of his guitars in Europe

We chose a single piece of incredible flame redwood which ron hollowed out so it is just a single of wood with lovely grained koa neck and one of the first set of koa capped WCR pickups that ron did way back

He also later added the ebony tailpiece for me with inlaid Thorn firesun logo in red coral so its sort of a brighter richer ES 330 type vibe but on a thorn double cut chassis -

Weight under 7lbs!!!!!!!!!!

The addition of the tone styler and split/parallel/series wiring for the neck pickup makes it amazingly versatile and it rings for days
