Dan needs to stop using that Tele - it is a mean tone monster and makes lots of things, but not all..., sound good

I agree - he made that Yamaha THR amp sound awesome.

It seems amazing but I couldn't replicate it myself - I wonder if it's a good demo of the value of a good recording set up and the knowledge to use it.

I think you'll find it's just the power of the PA - it's the volume. I have a 10C and get some great tones through my monitors when cranked. I also find using the software to tweak the tones helps.

Yeah unless your ears are microphones at 1mm from the speakers it isn't going to sound like that surely? Whenever I've heard one from anything more than very close I've heard the strings louder than the amp and it's just singer like an iPod dock
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

My thr10 was one of my best purchases. Really does enable you to play at home all hours without disturbing anyone.

You do however need to use the software to edit the tones to get the best out of it. It also sounds best when its on a table or hard surface sitting directly on front of it.
