New Chase Bliss pedals...

What's Hot

From the TGP thread I saw, one of the new ones (the smaller pedal furthest left) is a Faves pedal that allows you access more presets on existing CB pedals.

The other new one I can see is gold... doesn't that normally suggest a drive pedal? If so, my collection of gold-coloured ODs will probably grow by one:

Blimey, I've got high hopes for their drive pedal if that is the case

They seem to do everything really well.

There was a short documentary/interview posted a while back about him/them.  Really good watch, if not a bit sad

I have heard that Joel's really been through it. Seems like a lovely bloke.

I really like the idea of a small board with a few analogue pedals, and a CB drive with preset control would be perfect.

    Gold could be reverb?

I gave up on chase bliss pedals. Unless you want the crazy dip switch stuff the basic sounds can be had cheaper else where.

Joel has said that a reverb wasn't on his radar, and getting a reverb pedal to fit CB's "digital brain analogue heart" rule would be technically difficult.

I did love the tone of the pre-amp dial on the Gravitas, though, so a drive pedal could be great. In fact, with all the debate I've seen about the Riverside, digital control of an all-analogue drive circuit would put CB in their element.

I'd be hedging my bets on some sort stackable analogue gain stages with some fancy order options and digital twists.  But then what would I know ;)

I'd be willing to bet one shiny thrupenny tit that you're right on this.

  • The gold one will be a Klon with digitally controlled mojo.

Fuzz/Drive with digital controlled filter and tremolo. Given what that limited pedal he released was.

    Oh, Brothers...
No tap control, just the letter A on the left footswitch. So i guess it's not exactly the abracadabra fuzz.
