Not me, but I saw it and I do love that finish.

Heavy relic = massive turn off for me...hate them.  Tastefully done very light relic can be nice...but not that.

I do like me a Relic...Heavy or light Relic is fine.
it's the pristine mirror finish guitars that don't do it for me  :)

Funny thing is, 'real' vintage guitars were rarely that battered - as players had little concern about getting them refinished if they started to look shabby - as at the time they were just 'old', rather than vintage.

There seems to be a trend in relicing to try to make everything look like SRV's Number 1, or Rory Gallagher's Strat. These were very much the exception, rather than the rule.

The new 'Journeyman' finish is far more to my liking.

What about a real, genuine, pukka, hard earned knocks and scrapes relic?

Hopefully someone grabbed it, ran off with it and had it refinished properly.
