1999 Gretsch 6120 junior 2.
just picked this up today after a 500 mile round trip, but it was worth it. Very nice... and the jnrs are less of an armful than regular 6120 models - so can be nicer to play.

I guess they are like marmite.
some people buy them but then find that they can't bond with them n end up selling them on. I guess me n my dad must like them as we have 19 of them In different models etc.

I can't, just can't GAS any more at the mo - the last one I bought hasn't even been delivered yet (assuming it's not a pile of bricks or Sambostar in an envelope)

The problem is mate that the bloody gretsches keep piling up but I keep saying a want to find a good telecaster that I want to keep.

Many congrats - & that looks a lovely guitar to be proud of.  

For whatever reason I have to admit though that I've never taken to or ever had any yearning for a Gretsch; ditto a Rickenbacker.  The sound, design & feel simply don't appeal to me I'm afraid.  Just different strokes for different folk I guess.
